Lead Backend / Full Stack Developer

We’re on the lookout for a Lead Backend / Full Stack Developer

The Role

Working responsively, often simultaneously, across multiple complex projects, you will be required to lead on Double Brace product development from ideation to deployment. Working alongside the technical director and other senior developers you will have a passion to make products smarter; creating groundbreaking new features for clients, while maintaining and optimising existing systems.

Role Requirements

Your main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing of websites and web applications using a range of web technologies
  • Maintain and manage our production and development systems and be heavily involved in our source code management and deployment processes
  • Lead on and provide technical account management for a portfolio of Double Brace clients
  • Interpret briefs, specifications, wireframes and designs
  • Problem solve issues with Double Brace projects and products
  • Influence the company’s future proofing of core development skills and competencies; and make subsequent suggestions for training etc as necessary
  • To collaborate with, support and lead members of the development team as required
  • Mentor the professional development of junior/mid-level developers as necessary
  • Maintain a good commercial awareness of the changing development landscape

This is a full time position but if you are interested but can’t offer full time hours then please do get in touch.
